Currently, we manage two prestigious brands: Dongfeng Chenglong for the commercial vehicle sector and Dongfeng Forthing for the passenger vehicle market. The global motor car industry is undergoing its most significant transformation since the invention of the assembly line. Our R&D center is capable of carrying out the entire process design and development of 4 A-level project modelings simultaneously. We focus on vehicle-level platforms that ensure aerodynamic efficiency and modern aesthetics.
With a vehicle test capability coverage rate of 86.75%, our experiments cover everything from extreme temperature endurance to high-speed collision safety, ensuring every car meets international standards.
We hold multiple valid invention patents and participate in the formulation of national automotive standards in China. Our IPD process ensures a shortened R&D cycle without compromising quality.
Covers 2.128 million square meters; capable of producing 100k medium and heavy trucks per year including our latest H5EV and H7 electric series.
Covers 1.308 million square meters; capable of producing 400k passenger vehicles and 100k engines per year, including SUVs and Sedans.
We offer sophisticated CKD (Complete Knock Down) and SKD (Semi-Knock Down) packaging and design. This allows international partners to assemble vehicles locally, reducing import taxes and creating local jobs.
Our assembly lines utilize automatic operation and digital control, making the entire manufacturing process transparent, visualized, and highly efficient for large-scale wholesale orders.
Whether it's Right-Hand Drive (RHD) versions for markets like the UK, Thailand, or Australia, or high-capacity 7-seater MPVs for family travel and business, we customize our platforms for local needs.

In 2022, in line with the trend of electrification and intelligence development, Dongfeng Fengxing launched the “Guanghe Future” plan for electrification transformation. It continues to provide excellent product and service experiences for global users through new energy platform technology development, brand rejuvenation, and service upgrades. Chenglong also customizes the development of new energy vehicle models, jointly exploring broader market space with partners.
